Cooking with Clay
Natural forms resembling the pre-hispanic ‘Molcajetes’ made from stone & used to grind corn for tortillas, cacao for chocolate plus the working of a variety of chiles, spices, seeds and vegetables to make delicious traditional salsas and sauces.
In Mexico it is widely believed that dishes prepared using the stone have a far better flavour than if made using blenders and food processors
Purpose designed and made by Clay Cantina in studio at Norton and Norton.
Handmade ceramics available for purchase when taking a class.
